End User License Agreement

Terms governing use of Field + Focus software, including Delta Processing Engine.

Grant of license

Subject to payment (where applicable), valid activation, and these terms, Field + Focus grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on computers you control, within the seat limits of your license.

License types

  • Perpetual: ongoing use of the purchased major version line, subject to these terms.
  • Beta: pre-release builds for invited testers; may be revoked; not for production-critical work without backup.
  • Trial: reserved in our systems; not offered at public launch unless separately announced.

Restrictions

  • Do not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software or serials.
  • Do not circumvent activation, seat limits, or technical protections.
  • Do not reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits.
  • AAX distribution signing by PACE/Avid is a host-compatibility requirement — it is not a separate product license from Field + Focus.

Ownership

The software, trademarks, and documentation remain the property of Field + Focus and its licensors. Third-party components (including JUCE, Steinberg VST3 runtime terms, and Avid AAX tools) are subject to their own licenses — see in-app Settings → About and the user manual.

Disclaimer

The software is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Audio production environments vary; you are responsible for backups and verifying behaviour in your sessions.

Limitation of liability

Field + Focus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim, except where law prohibits such limits.

Termination

This license ends if you breach these terms or if your entitlement is revoked (e.g. chargeback). On termination you must stop using the software and delete copies in your possession.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Vancouver, B.C. have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
