Refund Policy

How refunds interact with license serials and downloads.

Merchant of Record

Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record (MoR) partner (provider to be announced). Refund requests may be initiated through the MoR receipt or by contacting support@fieldandfocus.ca.

Eligibility (draft)

  • 14-day window: refund requests within 14 days of purchase, if the license has not been abused (e.g. excessive activations or chargeback fraud).
  • Technical failure: if the product cannot be installed or activated on a supported macOS system after reasonable support, we will repair, replace, or refund.
  • Beta licenses: issued at no charge — no payment refund applies; access may be withdrawn at any time.

Effect of refund

Approved refunds revoke the associated serial, disable download entitlement, and deactivate future activations. Already-activated seats may continue to work offline until a future optional revocation check — v1 does not phone home — but you must stop using the software.

Chargebacks

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate license revocation and account suspension pending investigation.
